The high production efficiency of vertical roller mill also means that the daily maintenance is very important, especially the inspection and maintenance of grinding roller, hydraulic tension system, power system, powder concentrator and other parts.

1. grinding roller

The grinding roller is the heart of the vertical roller mill, and the grinding roller is inclined, which has two main functions: first, to increase the contact area and improve the grinding efficiency; second, to prevent large materials from falling from the edge and blocking the air inlet. With the increase of grinding time, the grinding roller is gradually worn, which can be turned over for use, prolong its service life and save cost.

Due to the long-term wear and vibration of vertical roller mill, the gap of each connecting part becomes larger, which is easy to cause the deviation of the position center of the grinding roller, resulting in the torque of the tensile rod, aggravating the vibration of the mill, and damaging the hydraulic cylinder and the chassis foundation. In daily maintenance, the radial system of the mill shall be inspected and the worn and aged spare parts shall be replaced at least once or twice a year according to the production conditions.

2. Hydraulic tensioning system

The hydraulic tension system is one of the most important equipment systems in the vertical roller mill, which plays a key role in the stable operation of the opposite mill. The huge grinding pressure exerted by the grinding roller on the material is provided by the hydraulic system. In daily maintenance, it is required that the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic system has a high cleanliness, so as to prevent small particles from entering the hydraulic oil, resulting in cylinder body scratch and nitrogen bag damage; during the use of the hydraulic oil, the oil quality shall be regularly inspected and checked every half a year, and the hydraulic oil shall be replaced in time in case of oil emulsion deterioration; reasonable grinding pressure shall be set according to the material characteristics, and under normal production conditions The actual operating pressure should generally be set between 70% and 90% of the very large pressure limit.

3. Power system

Power mainly refers to the main and auxiliary motors of vertical roller mill. The inspection contents include whether the motor grounding is loose, and if any problem is found, fasten it in time. Whether the position switch of the auxiliary motor is normal; whether the motor vibration, noise, temperature rise, current, voltage, etc. are normal; whether the motor lubrication is normal; whether the oil supply pressure, oil supply temperature, cooling water volume, inlet and outlet temperature of the oil station are normal; whether the oil level and filter oil pressure difference of the oil station are normal.

4. separator

The powder concentrator can select the particles with a certain size in time to avoid material agglomeration, adhesion to the abrasives and stick bin in the mill, reduce the over grinding of materials in the mill, and improve the grinding efficiency. The powder concentrator is located at the top of the mill. It mainly checks whether the motor and coupling work normally, and whether the noise, vibration and temperature rise are normal.

5. speed reducer

The reducer is the heart of the safe operation of the vertical roller mill. In order to ensure the safe operation of the reducer, it is necessary to regularly check the impurities on the oil filter screen to understand the operation of the gear and bearing of the reducer.
